Our origins

Ours – that of Frantoio Badia – is a century-long story, which began in the early 1920s, when for the first time the ancestor Domenico Corigliano, decided to create, ahead of his time, an oil mill with millstones.
The mill thus comes to life in Badia (VV) and since then, thanks to the ever-increasing attention to the processing cycle, the constancy and the great dedication of the four successive generations, we create an organic extra virgin olive oil.

After that, the company, with the same attention and with the most advanced technologies, was enriched with environmentally friendly oil machines.

The typically flat terrain favours the cultivation of olive trees of the “Octobratic cultivar”, native to the area, which form the basis of an oil with typically Mediterranean organoleptic prope

Thanks to our lands that extend over a hilly area, overlooking the sea, we obtain a precious production of olives, made with the organic method, scrupulously followed by our agronomist technicians, who take care of the cultivation, identifying the moment of veraison for harvesting.

Today you can find us in Nicholas Green street, 14 to Limbadi (VV).

Frantoio Badia extra virgin olive oil has that characteristic smell of olives harvested while still green and fruity aromas.
Numerous aromas then reveal themselves in the nose such as those of golden apples, green grass, tomato and herbs that balance the persistent aroma of cooked vegetables.
